Techsacare ("Techsacare," "we," "us," or "our") provides the Contraction Timer & Labor Guide mobile application (the "App").
This Privacy Policy explains how information is accessed, processed, collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted when you use the App.
By using the App, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy. Where applicable law requires consent, we will request it before collecting or using information for the relevant purpose.
1. App Summary
The App helps users time contractions, review contraction duration and frequency, record water-break information, and monitor general labor signs, including the commonly referenced 5-1-1 guideline.
The App:
- does not require account creation, login, or registration;
- does not request your name, email address, phone number, or postal address to provide its core features;
- stores contraction and labor entries locally on your device;
- does not upload contraction or labor entries to Techsacare servers;
- uses Google Firebase services for analytics, crash reporting, and performance monitoring; and
- uses Google AdMob to display advertisements.
2. Information You Enter
2.1 Contraction and Labor Information
You may voluntarily enter or generate the following information while using the App:
- contraction start and stop times;
- contraction duration;
- intervals between contractions;
- contraction history;
- water-break status and time;
- information used to assess the general 5-1-1 guideline; and
- other notes or labor-related entries supported by the App.
This information may constitute health-related or sensitive information. It is stored locally on your device and is used only to provide the App's timers, history, calculations, reminders, and labor-tracking features.
Techsacare does not receive, store, synchronize, sell, or use your contraction and labor information for advertising or analytics. The App is designed so that these entries are not included in Firebase Analytics events, crash reports, performance reports, or AdMob advertising requests.
3. Information Collected Automatically
The App includes third-party software development kits provided by Google. Depending on your device, settings, location, consent choices, and use of the App, these services may automatically process or collect limited technical information.
3.1 Google Analytics for Firebase
Google Analytics for Firebase may collect or process information such as:
- app interactions and events;
- session information and time of use;
- device type, model, operating system, language, and app version;
- general geographic region derived from an IP address;
- Firebase installation identifiers and other pseudonymous identifiers;
- advertising-related information where permitted; and
- general usage and engagement information.
We use this information to understand how the App is used, improve features, measure reliability, and identify technical issues. We do not intentionally send contraction times, water-break information, labor notes, or other locally stored health information to Google Analytics for Firebase.
3.2 Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics may collect or process:
- crash logs and stack traces;
- app state at the time of a crash;
- device model and operating system;
- app version;
- Firebase installation IDs and Crashlytics installation UUIDs;
- diagnostic information; and
- limited technical information required to investigate and resolve crashes.
We use Crashlytics only to identify crashes, improve stability, and correct technical errors.
3.3 Firebase Performance Monitoring
Firebase Performance Monitoring may collect or process:
- app start time and screen-rendering performance;
- network request timing and performance;
- device and app information;
- IP address for general regional or network-performance analysis;
- Firebase installation identifiers; and
- de-identified performance events.
We use this information to monitor speed, reliability, network performance, and overall App quality.
3.4 Google AdMob
The App uses Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK to display advertisements. According to Google's disclosures, the Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect and share:
- IP address, which may be used to estimate a device's general location;
- app launches, taps, ad views, video views, and other user-product interactions;
- diagnostic and performance information;
- Android advertising ID, App Set ID, and other device or account identifiers; and
- advertising, analytics, attribution, and fraud-prevention information.
AdMob may provide personalized or non-personalized ads depending on your location, age-related settings, consent choices, device settings, and applicable law. Techsacare does not provide your locally stored contraction or labor information to AdMob.
Where required, the App uses Google's consent and privacy tools to request and manage choices concerning advertising, analytics storage, ad personalization, and related data processing. You may also control or reset your Android advertising ID through your device's privacy or advertising settings.

4. How We Use Information
We use information for the following purposes:
- Provide App functionality: operate contraction timers, calculate durations and intervals, maintain local history, support water-break logging, and provide general 5-1-1 notifications.
- Improve performance: understand general App usage, improve navigation and features, and evaluate reliability.
- Diagnose problems: investigate crashes, errors, slow performance, and network issues.
- Display and measure advertising: serve advertisements, measure ad performance, prevent invalid traffic, and support App monetization.
- Maintain security: detect abuse, fraud, unauthorized activity, and technical threats.
- Comply with law: meet legal obligations and respond to lawful requests.
We do not use contraction or labor information for advertising, profiling, analytics, or marketing.
5. Legal Bases for Processing
Where the laws of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or another jurisdiction require a legal basis, information may be processed on one or more of the following grounds:
- Your consent: for personalized advertising, analytics, device storage, or similar processing where consent is required. You may withdraw consent through the App's privacy options where available.
- Performance of a service requested by you: to provide the contraction timer and labor-tracking functions you choose to use.
- Legitimate interests: to maintain App security, diagnose crashes, prevent fraud, improve performance, and provide non-personalized or limited advertising where permitted.
- Legal obligation: when processing is necessary to comply with applicable law or a binding legal request.
6. Sharing of Information
Techsacare does not sell or rent your locally stored contraction or labor information. We do not share that information with advertisers.
Limited technical, analytics, diagnostic, and advertising information may be processed by Google LLC through:
- Google Analytics for Firebase;
- Firebase Crashlytics;
- Firebase Performance Monitoring;
- Google AdMob and the Google Mobile Ads SDK; and
- Google's consent and privacy messaging services, where enabled.
Google processes this information according to its applicable terms and privacy policies. You can review them at:
We may also disclose limited information if required by law, court order, legal process, or a valid government request, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, prevent fraud, enforce legal rights, or maintain the security of the App.
7. Data Retention and Deletion
7.1 Contraction and Labor Information
Contraction times, intervals, history, water-break information, and other labor entries are retained locally on your device for as long as the App's data remains on that device, unless you delete them earlier.
You may delete individual entries or your complete history from within the App. Clearing the App's storage or uninstalling the App deletes the App's locally stored copy of this information. Your operating system or device provider may separately retain device backups if backup functionality is enabled; those backups are controlled by your device and platform settings rather than by Techsacare.
Techsacare does not retain contraction or labor information on its servers.
7.2 Google Analytics for Firebase
Techsacare configures user-level and event-level Google Analytics for Firebase data to be retained for two months. At the end of the configured retention period, applicable user-level and event-level data is automatically deleted according to Google's deletion process. Certain aggregated reports that do not directly identify an individual user may remain available for longer under Google's service policies.
7.3 Firebase Crashlytics
Firebase Crashlytics retains crash stack traces, extracted minidump data, and associated identifiers, including Crashlytics installation UUIDs and Firebase installation IDs, for 90 days before beginning removal from live and backup systems. Minidump data used for native crash processing is stored temporarily and discarded after processing.
7.4 Firebase Performance Monitoring
Firebase Performance Monitoring retains IP-associated events for 30 days. Installation-associated and de-identified performance data is retained for 60 days before Google begins removing it from live and backup systems.
7.5 Google AdMob
Advertising and reporting information is retained by Google according to its AdMob retention policies. Data available to Techsacare through the AdMob User Activity report is retained for 90 days. Data in the Ads Activity, Cohort, and Privacy & Messaging reports may be retained for up to 2,555 days. Google may retain or delete other advertising information according to its own legal obligations, product settings, and privacy policies.
Current AdMob report-retention information is available at:
https://support.google.com/admob/answer/16585829
7.6 Support Communications and Legal Requirements
If you contact us by email, we may retain your message and contact details for as long as reasonably necessary to respond, resolve the issue, prevent abuse, and maintain appropriate business records. We may retain limited information for longer where required by law, security, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or enforcement of legal rights.
When a retention period ends, information under our control is deleted, de-identified, or aggregated unless continued retention is legally required.
8. Your Choices and Data-Control Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, objection, or withdrawal of consent concerning personal information processed about you.
Because the App does not create user accounts and contraction data remains on your device, Techsacare generally cannot access or retrieve your contraction history. You can control that information by:
- deleting individual entries;
- deleting your complete history;
- clearing the App's storage; or
- uninstalling the App.
For analytics and advertising information, you may be able to:
- change choices through the App's privacy options where displayed;
- withdraw consent where consent is the applicable legal basis;
- reset or delete your Android advertising ID through device settings;
- limit ad personalization through Google or Android settings; and
- contact us to submit a privacy request.
Because Firebase and advertising information may be pseudonymous and the App has no account system, we may not always be able to associate a specific record with you. We will nevertheless review and respond to valid requests as required by applicable law.
Privacy requests may be sent to: [email protected]
We may need to verify a request before acting on it. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
Contraction and labor information remains within the App's local device storage. Data transmitted by Google Mobile Ads and Firebase services is protected in transit using applicable encryption and security controls provided by Google.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure. We therefore cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. International Data Processing
Google and its service providers may process technical, analytics, performance, crash, consent, and advertising information in countries other than the country in which you live. Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required, appropriate legal safeguards are used for international transfers in accordance with applicable law and Google's terms.
11. Children's Privacy
The App is intended for people tracking pregnancy-related labor signs and is not directed to children under 13 or the minimum age required by applicable local law.
We do not knowingly request names, contact details, or account information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through a support communication or another feature, contact us at
[email protected] so that we can review and, where appropriate, delete it.
Advertising and consent settings for users below the applicable age of consent must be configured in accordance with Google requirements and applicable children's privacy laws.
12. Third-Party Links and Services
Advertisements or App content may link to third-party websites, applications, or services. Techsacare does not control the privacy, security, or content practices of those third parties. Review their privacy policies before providing information or using their services.
13. Medical and Safety Disclaimer
The Contraction Timer & Labor Guide is an informational and self-tracking tool only. It is not a medical device and is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease, pregnancy complication, or medical condition.
The App's timers, logs, calculations, reminders, and notifications—including notifications based on the general 5-1-1 guideline—are not a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis, monitoring, or treatment. The 5-1-1 guideline may not be appropriate for every pregnancy, including high-risk pregnancies, preterm labor, multiple pregnancies, or situations in which a healthcare provider has provided different instructions.
Do not delay seeking medical assistance because of information provided by the App. If you believe you are in labor, your water breaks, you experience bleeding, severe pain, decreased fetal movement, difficulty breathing, dizziness, or any other urgent or concerning symptom, contact your doctor, midwife, emergency service, or hospital immediately.
14. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to the App, third-party services, legal requirements, or our information practices. The revised policy will be posted at the App's privacy-policy URL and the "Last updated" date will be changed.
Material changes will be communicated through the App or another appropriate method where required by law. Changes become effective on the date stated in the updated policy.
